Synopsis for the southern california coast and santa barbara channel including the channel islands national marine sanctuary and national park..At 09z, or 2 am pdt, a 1025 mb surface high was located about 1000 nm W of point conception, while a 1003 mb thermal low was near death valley, ca. Light to occasionally moderate west to northwest flow will continue through Tuesday night, then moderate northwest flow will move into the outer coastal waters for the latter half of the week.
