Post tropical cyclone jose will meander and weaken to the southeast of long island through Saturday, as high pressure slowly builds in from the west. The high continues to build into the area for the rest of the weekend, then remains over the area into the middle of next week as hurricane maria tracks well offshore of the east coast.
