Vfr through the period with southeasterly to easterly flow. Apf

continuing.

discussion...

bermuda high over the western atlantic waters will remain almost
stationary through the weekend allowing for an east to southeast
flow to prevail over south florida. Dry air intrusion over the
forecast area will limit the rain chances with pops below average
this weekend. A slight chance of some isolated showers over the
eastern areas to a low chance of showers and a few thunderstorms
mainly over the interior near the lake region this weekend. High
temperatures will be ranging from the low 90s along the coast and
mid 90s interior and west coast metro areas. Heat index values
will be near the triple digits for most locations both days but
remain around 95 along the coastal areas. Lows overnight will
remain in the mid 70s in the interior and west while in the upper
70s southern counties and the east coast.

Early next week, the high centered over the western atlantic is
retreating eastward into the bahamas as a cold front over tennessee
valley moves slowly across the southeast plains into fl panhandle
late Monday. Deep moisture content will work its way into the
region leading for an increase in scattered showers and thunderstorms
the early part of the week. This front is not progged to make it
too much further south remaining near central fl. The front stalls
to the north but the abundant moisture to the south will increase
pops to 50 to 60 percent for south florida through the week.

End of the week, the front is forecast to retrograde northward which
will allow for ridge to return to south florida. Easterly flow will
prevail through the end of the week. This will allow for more of
a typical summer time weather pattern to set up over south florida
with morning shower and thunderstorm activity east coast areas
shifting to the interior and west coast metro areas in the
afternoon.

Marine... The winds will remain east to southeast this weekend
around 10 to 15 knots with abundant sunshine as dry air makes its
way into the region. The winds will then remain easterly around 10
knots for the early to middle portion of next week. Seas will
remain at 3 feet or less in both the atlantic and gulf waters of
south florida this weekend into next week. Therefore, boating
conditions look good over the south florida waters outside of any
shower or thunderstorm activity.

Beach forecast... The threat of rip currents is moderate today
along the east coast beaches of south florida as the east to
southeast wind has decrease compared to previous day.

It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
