Today..Northeast winds around 20 knots early in the morning, then becoming east and diminishing to 10 to 15 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters choppy this morning becoming a moderate chop in the afternoon.
Tonight..East winds around 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers after midnight.
Tuesday..East winds around 15 knots then becoming south and diminishing to 5 to 10 knots early in the afternoon, then becoming southwest around 5 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Showers likely and a slight chance of Thunderstorms.
Tuesday night..South winds around 5 knots then becoming northeast around 5 knots in the late evening and overnight. Seas 2 feet or less. Bay and inland waters smooth. A slight chance of Thunderstorms.
Wednesday..Northeast winds around 5 knots then becoming northwest in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet or less. Bay and inland waters smooth. A slight chance of Thunderstorms. A chance of showers in the afternoon.
Wednesday night..Northwest winds around 5 knots then becoming east around 10 knots toward morning. Seas 2 feet or less. Bay and inland waters a light chop. A chance of showers and a slight chance of Thunderstorms.

GMZ800 Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River- 331 Am Est Mon Nov 20 2017
Synopsis..A cold front across the southern florida peninsula early this morning will move into and stall out across the florida straits later this afternoon and tonight as surface high pressure over the southeastern states slides east northeast toward the mid atlantic coast. Strong and gusty north winds over the gulf waters early this morning will diminish some by later this morning and into the afternoon as the flow veers into the northeast and east. Tonight into Tuesday the high will shift east into the atlantic as an area of low pressure develops over the gulf. As this low develops the stalled frontal boundary across the florida straits will lift back to the north as a warm front on Tuesday. Increasing moisture combined with the warm front and developing low pressure over the gulf will bring increasing rain chances and isolated Thunderstorms to the gulf waters on Tuesday and continuing through the end of the week as this storm system continues to affect the region.

Update
Clear and cool across the region this morning with temperatures in
the 40s and 50s. Mostly sunny skies should hold on for most of the
day with temperatures rebounding back into the 70s. Moisture will
quickly return later today and tonight as surface high pressure
moves off southeast u.S. Coast and mid upper level troughing
amplifies over the gulf of mexico leading to increasing clouds and
possibly a few showers late tonight south of interstate 4.

Overall the current grids zone forecast look ok with no morning
update needed.

Aviation
Vfr conditions should prevail into tonight, but moisture will
quickly return overnight with some MVFR ceilings possible late.

Easterly winds at 7 to 12 knots are expected with some occasional
higher gusts later this morning and afternoon.

Marine
Breezy easterly winds will continue into tonight with speeds at
exercise caution criteria for a few more hours this morning and
again during tonight. An area of low pressure is expected to
develop over the eastern gulf of mexico, with this low tracking
east northeast across the peninsula during Wednesday through
Friday. Although winds and seas are not expected to significantly
increase with this low rain chances will with scattered to
numerous showers and isolated storms expected
