GMZ800 Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River- 331 Am Est Mon Nov 20 2017
Synopsis..A cold front across the southern florida peninsula early this morning will move into and stall out across the florida straits later this afternoon and tonight as surface high pressure over the southeastern states slides east northeast toward the mid atlantic coast. Strong and gusty north winds over the gulf waters early this morning will diminish some by later this morning and into the afternoon as the flow veers into the northeast and east. Tonight into Tuesday the high will shift east into the atlantic as an area of low pressure develops over the gulf. As this low develops the stalled frontal boundary across the florida straits will lift back to the north as a warm front on Tuesday. Increasing moisture combined with the warm front and developing low pressure over the gulf will bring increasing rain chances and isolated Thunderstorms to the gulf waters on Tuesday and continuing through the end of the week as this storm system continues to affect the region.

Update
Clear and cool across the region this morning with temperatures in
the 40s and 50s. Mostly sunny skies should hold on for most of the
day with temperatures rebounding back into the 70s. Moisture will
quickly return later today and tonight as surface high pressure
moves off southeast u.S. Coast and mid upper level troughing
amplifies over the gulf of mexico leading to increasing clouds and
possibly a few showers late tonight south of interstate 4.

Overall the current grids zone forecast look ok with no morning
update needed.

Aviation
Vfr conditions should prevail into tonight, but moisture will
quickly return overnight with some MVFR ceilings possible late.

Easterly winds at 7 to 12 knots are expected with some occasional
higher gusts later this morning and afternoon.

Marine
Breezy easterly winds will continue into tonight with speeds at
exercise caution criteria for a few more hours this morning and
again during tonight. An area of low pressure is expected to
develop over the eastern gulf of mexico, with this low tracking
east northeast across the peninsula during Wednesday through
Friday. Although winds and seas are not expected to significantly
increase with this low rain chances will with scattered to
numerous showers and isolated storms expected

There are five sources. 1) Documents and manuals from a variety of sources. These have not been checked for accuracy and in many cases have not even been read by anyone associated with L-36.com. I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. If you have questions on these, please contact the author. 3) Articles that represent my personal opinions. These are intended to promote thought and for entertainment. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. Almost all of these also make simplifying assumptions so they are not totally accurate even if there are no errors. Please verify all results. 5) Weather information is from numerious of sources and is presented automatically. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
