Turning much cooler Thursday night behind strong cold front...

Update
Central florida remains within a warm and unstable environment
ahead of a strong cold front over the eastern gulf of mexico and
north florida. Showers and isolated thunderstorms continue to
develop within the warm southerly flow, particularly over the
western half of the state and eastern gulf in the vicinity of a
developing weak area of low pressure. Expect the greatest
coverage to remain north and west of the area overnight as the low
pressure lifts into the northeastern gulf of mexico and over
north florida. With that in mind, dropped pops from this
afternoon's package, focusing on areas along and to the northwest
of i-4 with 40-50%. Otherwise, 20-30% should suffice.

Expect the surface front to make it to lake county around sunrise
before steadily progressing east across the rest of the area
Thursday morning. Shower chances should remain confined to the
treasure coast during the first half of the Thursday as the front
moves through.

Aviation
Greatest chance for shra overnight expected between klee-kdab with
progressively lower chances the further south and east one
travels. A strong cold front will move across the area Thursday
morning, bringing an opportunity for MVFR ceilings, initially to
klee between 10-14z, a bit later the further east and south one
travels. Expect ceilings to lift and clear later Thursday
afternoon.

Marine
Southeast winds shifting to gentle to moderate S SW breeze
overnight as a cold front pushes into central florida. Winds will
turn to the northwest Thursday morning as the front moves across
the waters. Seas 3-4 feet and up to 5 feet in the gulf stream at
sunset... By daybreak building to 4-6 feet north of sebastian inlet
(up to 7 feet in the gulf stream), 3-5 feet south of the inlet.

There are five sources. 1) Documents and manuals from a variety of sources. These have not been checked for accuracy and in many cases have not even been read by anyone associated with L-36.com. I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. If you have questions on these, please contact the author. 3) Articles that represent my personal opinions. These are intended to promote thought and for entertainment. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. Almost all of these also make simplifying assumptions so they are not totally accurate even if there are no errors. Please verify all results. 5) Weather information is from numerious of sources and is presented automatically. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
