Update
Morning visible imagery shows some low level stratus stratocu behind
a weakening low level frontal trough that moved into central fl
yesterday afternoon. Nne winds behind the trough feature will veer
to onshore through late afternoon. Light flow across SRN sections
will also veer to onshore with the afternoon east coast sea breeze
development by early afternoon. Morning soundings indicate fairly
high moisture levels continuing mainly in the low to mid levels with
pwats to 1.85 inches at the CAPE and 1.76 inches at tampa. Mid level
temps have warmed about a deg to -7 c at 500 mbs since yesterday
morning. High resolution mesoscale guidance focuses greatest
coverage of afternoon convection across SRN sections ahead of the
remnant frontal trough and also across the interior this afternoon.

Potential for locally heavy rainfall should focus from southern
brevard and osceola southward into the late afternoon. Made some
slight adjustments to pops to 30-40 percent north coastal to 50-60
percent across SRN sections. High temps should reach the mid to
upper 80s along the coast and near 90 across the interior today.

Aviation
Sct-bkn clouds in the 015-025 should lift through 16z with daytime
heating toVFR levels most areas. High resolution guidance indicates
convection developing along the ktix-ksua corridor with the east
coast sea breeze and developing onshore flow by 16z-17z and then
moving westward into the interior this afternoon. Highest convection
chances should be between 18z-21z for cstl terminals and 19z-22z
ksfb-kmco and 20z-23z for klee today.

Marine
Update... Low level winds from nne NE will veer to the ene E across
most of the waters through late afternoon. Little change to forecast
for morning update expected. Sea mainly 2 ft near shore and up to 2-
3 ft offshore.

Previous... Local winds to veer to the east as sfc high pressure
slides off the mid-atlantic coast. Continued veering to the
southeast expected overnight. Speeds will be 5-10 knots for the
nearshore waters with seas 2 feet, but freshening up to 10 to 15
knots offshore with seas 2-3 feet. Plenty of moisture left behind
from an old frontal trough will be available for scattered showers
and thunderstorms, but with an inland propagating sea breeze during
the afternoon.

There are five sources. 1) Documents and manuals from a variety of sources. These have not been checked for accuracy and in many cases have not even been read by anyone associated with L-36.com. I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. If you have questions on these, please contact the author. 3) Articles that represent my personal opinions. These are intended to promote thought and for entertainment. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. Almost all of these also make simplifying assumptions so they are not totally accurate even if there are no errors. Please verify all results. 5) Weather information is from numerious of sources and is presented automatically. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
