Hot and dry memorial day...

Update
Current conditions resemble Saturday's around this time, with a
sea breeze boundary diminishing on radar as temperatures gradients
weaken. Locations that saw onshore flow develop behind the sea
breeze will see their winds clock around to the south and
eventually west overnight. With increased dewpoints present across
the area, minimum temperatures will be considerably higher
relative to Saturday night, with lows around 70f expected across
most of the area.

Only weather challenge that exists tonight is the potential for
stratus and patchy ground fog, as well as dense smoke developing
in and near the "water plant fire" off of sr-520 in orange
county. Guidance continues to indicate the potential for low
clouds early Monday morning across northern areas, so have
increased cloud cover slightly along the i-4 corridor and points
to the north and west. Have also maintained patchy smoke over far
eastern orange county and west central brevard county where light
winds and higher dewpoint air may make for a dangerous
combination of dense fog smoke.

Memorial day (previous discussion)... Center of mid level
anticyclone will push east of the area but ridge will still extend
back over the area. This will continue some subsidence and keep
moisture confined to a shallow layer near the surface. Only expect
a little bit of cloudiness during daytime heating. Temperatures
will continue hot in the lower to mid 90s. Dew points will be a
bit higher, around 70, so heat indices should creep up to the
upper 90s in some areas.

Aviation
ContinuedVFR through early Monday morning with a low potential
for ifr stratus toward sunrise, mainly along kdab-kism corridor.

In addition, shallow ground fog is possible over a few
aerodromes, so have opted to include mifg at this time.VFR
shortly after sunrise Monday.

Marine
Tonight-memorial day... A slight diurnal wind increase should occur
this evening, especially in the north for south southwest winds up
to 10-15 knots. Winds should then gradually veer and be from the
northwest near 10 knots early in the morning. Memorial day looks
continued good for small craft operation with the offshore wind
flow diminishing and a sea breeze developing in the afternoon.

Seas 2 feet or less.

Fire weather
Monday... Though it will continue hot and very dry, dew points will
remain elevated and min rh values should only fall to around
35 percent over the interior. West winds will be less than 10 mph,
then a 10 to 15 mph sea breeze will move inland in the afternoon.

I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
