Discussion
Current-tonight... Mid-upper low over the southwest fl coast will
continue to spin westward into the gomex over the next 24 hours.

This has provided some cooler temperatures aloft across ecfl. The
10z kxmr soundings came in with 700 500mb temps of +9.1c -8.8c and a
pwat of 1.77 inches. 915 mhz CAPE wind profilers show a deep, but
light easterly flow (5-10kts). Nexrad 88d shows isold-wdly sct
showers storms over the coastal waters; a few of which were able to
move onshore earlier this morning. Much deeper moisture (pwat) is
forecast southward today with 1.50 inches across the i-4 corridor
and around 1.90 inches south of here.

Will keep greatest convection chances south of kmco and we may need
to monitor for a few stronger storms south of orlando today as well.

Pops up to 40-50 percent exist along and south of a line from lake
kissimmee to melbourne, while farther north drier air will keep rain
chances around 20-30 percent. Highs along the coast and southern
interior will reach the upper 80s, while northern interior areas
that see more sunshine will reach into the low 90s.

Previous... Isolated to scattered showers and even a few storms will
continue to push onshore, mainly from the CAPE southward into
tonight as low level easterly flow persists. However, much of this
activity should weaken as it shifts west of i-95, with much of the
interior expected to remain dry. Lows overnight will range from the
low to mid 70s.

Aviation Deeper moisture south of kmco-ktix where highest
shower storm chances will exist. Expect convective activity to pick
back up late morning early afternoon with development push inland of
the ecsb. Expect tempo ifr MVFR conditions in scattered showers and
isolated storms. Rain chances and potential for cig vsby reductions
then remain along the coast, especially from the CAPE southward,
into tonight as scattered showers and isolated storms continue to
push onshore.

Marine Today-tonight... Surface ridge axis north of the area will
keep a deep, but light onshore flow component over the area. Wind
speeds 10-15 kts over the open atlc decreasing late in the night.

Seas generally 3-4 ft, but are forecast to build to 5 ft well
offshore and north of sebastian inlet later tonight.

Scattered showers and storms will continue to be possible across the
waters, mainly from the CAPE southward as they push westward and
onshore today through tonight.

Mlb watches warnings advisories
Fl... None.

Am... None.

There are five sources. 1) Documents and manuals from a variety of sources. These have not been checked for accuracy and in many cases have not even been read by anyone associated with L-36.com. I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. If you have questions on these, please contact the author. 3) Articles that represent my personal opinions. These are intended to promote thought and for entertainment. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. Almost all of these also make simplifying assumptions so they are not totally accurate even if there are no errors. Please verify all results. 5) Weather information is from numerious of sources and is presented automatically. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
