Discussion
For those who have been waiting for it to start feeling like fall
across west-central and SW florida then today is your day!
temperatures this morning will be quite cool by florida standards
with 30s and 40s across the nature coast, mid 40s to lower 50s across
the tampa bay area with mid 50s across far SW florida. Surface high
pressure settling north of the region will keep ample CAA in place
today with northerly winds. Despite the ample sunshine today, temps
will not get out of the 60s except perhaps a few 70 degree readings
across the far southern zones. Tonight as winds get light, an ideal
radiational cooling scenario appears likely with temps dropping
quickly after sunset. Overnight lows in the upper 30s again expected
across the nature coast with 40s across central zones with lower 50s
in far SW fl.

As surface ridge shifts this weekend, temps will begin to moderate
with E NE winds in place. A weak front then moves into the area
Monday night Tuesday, with upper energy lingering across the area
through the end of the period. A few showers possible with this, but
most areas are expected to remain dry. Some drier air moves in behind
the front as high pressure builds back in from the north, but temps
expected to remain about the same through the end of the period.

Highs will linger in the 70s to around 80 through the period, with
lows warming from the 40s to lower 50s Friday night to in the 50s to
lower 60s Saturday night through the rest of the period.

Aviation
Vfr conditions through the period with mainly clear skies. May see a
few sct low high clouds between now and daybreak but skies expected
to be clear after sunrise. Northerly winds around 10 knots can be
expected throughout the day.

Marine
Scec conditions continue through late morning across far offshore
gulf waters before winds begin to subside. High pressure will remain
across the waters through early Monday, with winds continuing to
lighten and turning to the E NE as the high center shifts to the ne.

A weak front then pushes through the area Monday night Tuesday, with
winds just backing a bit to the N ne. Ridging returns thereafter.

Fire weather
Rh values this afternoon will fall near 35 percent in spots however winds
will be light and erc values are low, so no headlines expected. Humidity
will then moderate for the rest of the week, with no other critical
humidities expected.

I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
