Discussion
Line of storms in west texas should make steady eastward progress
overnight thru the hill country and toward western parts of SE tx
around, or shortly before, sunrise. Difficult forecast in regards
to how things will eventually evolve. Will it speed up a touch
and be slightly more progressive than earlier thinking? Some of
the incoming guidance could be leaning this way, while others
still look about the same as earlier in regards to timing/details.

Don't have enough confidence either way where I feel that I could
add more value to the forecast that's already out there... So will
largely ride with what we have going and keep an eye on trends.

I will add possibility of severe wording to nw/w zones after 10z
should the line arrive a bit earlier. Also nudged winds up a
touch at some locations as llvl jet increases and mixes. Small
craft advisories in effect for all waters with some gusts to 30kt
possible. 47

Aviation
Still a lot of uncertainty with regard to timing of the storms to-
morrow. Did not make too many changes with previous TAF trends as
short-term models are still not showing much consensus. Meanwhile,
given the strong onshore winds at the lower-levels, will keep the
overnight MVFR CIGS in place. May include the mention of llws for
iah/hou (starting around 10z) with the 21z update. 41

It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
