Update
Upper level ridging remains across much of the southeast tonight,
with only just a few isolated thunderstorms hanging on across
northeast florida. Temperatures are still in the mid 80s across
most of the area. Dry conditions tonight and light offshore winds
expected. Rest of the forecast unchanged - expecting another hot
and humid day tomorrow though we should see scattered showers and
thunderstorms as the upper level ridge weakens some.

Aviation
Vfr conditions are expected tonight with only just a few isolated
showers lingering around northeast florida. Winds will be light, mainly
westerly and frequently calm. Tomorrow expect scattered CU to
develop by mid to late morning with bases between 020-040 feet,
and thunderstorm activity to begin by early afternoon. Storms will
generally start across the western half of the are and move
eastward during the afternoon and evening hours, and increase in
coverage from kjax southward.

Marine
Light offshore winds will continue through the end of the week,
with only a very weak atlantic sea breeze near the coast. South-
southwesterly evening wind surges will bring wind speeds up to
near 15 knots in the offshore waters each evening through Friday.

High pressure will build northward across the atlantic this
weekend, shifting winds more southerly. A southerly wind surge on
Saturday evening may bring winds into the caution range of 15-20
knots, but speeds will otherwise remain below caution through the
weekend, with seas remaining in the 2 to 4 foot range.

Rip currents: low risk of rip currents through the rest of the
week.

I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
