Rest of tonight..West southwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around 35 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet with occasional seas up to 8 feet. Dominant period 6 seconds. Inland waters choppy. Showers likely and a slight chance of Thunderstorms in the evening...then a chance of showers after midnight.
Thursday..West winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Dominant period 5 seconds. Inland waters a moderate chop.
Thursday night..West winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Dominant period 8 seconds. Inland waters a moderate chop.
Friday..West northwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south southeast in the afternoon. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Dominant period 8 seconds. Inland waters a light chop.

AMZ400 Synopsis For Altamaha Sound Ga To Flagler Beach Fl Out To 60 Nm- 803 Pm Edt Wed May 24 2017
Synopsis.. Scattered showers and a few storms will move across the waters tonight ahead of an approaching strong cold front. This front will cross our coastal waters late tonight. Weak high pressure will build over our area from the west Thursday night and Friday. High pressure will build to the southeast over the weekend into early next week.

Update
A cold front, which is currently located just to the northwest of
the forecast area, will move southeast across the region tonight.

The atmosphere has been cooled and stabilized by earlier rains,
so not expecting severe weather with its passage. Although, an
isolated strong storm over SE ga could not be ruled out along the
front this evening. Otherwise isolated to scattered showers will
be expected tonight. Clouds will decrease from northwest to
southeast overnight. Temperatures are expected to cool to near or
slightly below normal tonight.

Aviation
Scattered showers will be possible through around 2 am with low
level wind shear possible. A few thunderstorms may affect kssi
this evening. Conditions will trend towardVFR overnight. While
surface winds will diminish somewhat overnight, winds will become
gusty during the day Thursday.
