Synopsis for the tidal potomac and md portion of the chesapeake bay.. High pressure will drift east to bermuda through this evening. Two low pressure systems will enter and weaken over the midwest Saturday and Monday night. Small craft advisories may be needed for portions of the waters Sunday and Sunday night.

Synopsis High pressure offshore will remain in control of the
area through early next week. Low pressure will approach the
area on Tuesday with a cold front moving through the area
Tuesday night. High pressure builds again over the area for the
middle part of next week.

Near term /through Saturday/ High pressure offshore will
maintain its grip over the area through early next week
supporting mild temperatures. A small chance of showers will
exist along the mason-dixon line due to a proximity of a
stationary bdry across pennsylvania.

Short term /Saturday night through Sunday night/
On Sunday, a backdoor cdfnt could push south into southern md
bringing low clouds and cooler temperatures due to a more
onshore flow. Widespread showers will work into the area late
sun and Sun night in area of sfc convergence and warm air
advection ahead of low pressure moving into the great lks.

Long term /Monday through Friday/
Unsettled weather expected on Monday with return flow over our
area and frontal boundary stalled north of us. Pops may diminish
Monday night before another front moves across our area Tuesday
into Tuesday night. Showers and thunderstorms possible.

Conditions starts drying on Wednesday and into Thursday as high
pressure builds into the area. Warm front lifts north Thursday
into Friday, increasing pops over our area. High temperatures
during this period will be gradually decreasing from the 60s and
70s on Monday into the 50s and 60s on Friday.

Aviation /18z Friday through Wednesday/ Brief MVFR fog early
tomorrow, otherwiseVFR.

Unsettled weather on Monday as frontal boundary stalls north of
our area. Brief period of dry conditions Monday night before
another front approaches on Tuesday. Dry conditions return
Wednesday. Sub-vfr periods possible Monday into Tuesday, then
vfr Wednesday.

Marine Small craft conditions through this evening. Winds
begin to diminish overnight.

Unsettled weather on Monday as frontal boundary stalls north of
our area. Brief period of dry conditions Monday night before
another front approaches on Tuesday. Dry conditions return
Wednesday. Winds expected to be below the small craft advisory
threshold during this period.
