Short term Today through Monday night... Its a cool start out
there this morning, with most locations in the 30s and
40s... Except some 20s in the normally colder, high mountain
valleys in oregon. There is also some patchy fog out there

Mainly in and around the grande ronde valley. Otherwise, an
upper level trough is slowly shifting east into idaho this
morning. The forecast area will remain in a northerly flow pattern
between this departing upper level trough and an offshore upper
level ridge. Guidance is indicating ample amounts of mid high
level moisture hanging around through the day... So am expecting
partly to mostly cloudy skies to prevail. Much of the area will
remain dry, but there will be about a 15 percent chance of a stray
mountain shower in the afternoon. High temperatures rebound into
the mid-60s to lower 70s this afternoon... Except 50s and low 60s
mountains. Expect north-northwest winds less than 10 mph today in
most locations. For tonight, there will be some lingering scattered
clouds... And overnight lows will be chilly once again. Look for
low temperatures between 35-45... Except upper 20s and lower 30s in
the mountains and high valleys. On Sunday the main offshore ridge
continues to gradually build closer to the cwa. A shortwave ridge
moves through, which should allow for partly sunny skies and mild
temperatures. On Monday, a weak weather system is forecast to
ride over the top of the ridge and into our area. This will bring
increasing mid high level clouds, along with a slight chance for
showers along the east slopes of the washington cascades and
northern blue mountains. The increased cloud cover will hold
temperatures between 65-75 on Monday... Which is very close to the
seasonal average. West-northwest winds will increase slightly...

reaching 5 to 15 mph Monday afternoon evening. Cloud cover is
expected to linger over the central and eastern portion of the
forecast area into Monday night... This will keep low temperatures
somewhat elevated compared to previous nights. 77

Long term Tuesday through Saturday... An upper ridge will be
building just off the pacific northwest coast with a north to
northwest flow over the forecast area on Tuesday. There will be a
very weak cold front in the n_nw flow which may bring a light shower
over the central washington cascade east slopes. Elsewhere it will
be dry and stable. This ridge axis will then move inland Tuesday
through Thursday with a warming trend and dry conditions. As the
ridge axis moves east of the CWA on Thursday night and Friday a
southwest flow aloft will develop and allow some increasing moisture
and limited instability to move into the forecast area. This may
result in some light rain showers over the central washington
cascade east slopes, but elsewhere it will be too dry for any shower
activity. Temperatures will be on a warming trend through Thursday,
and then leveling out on Friday. Then it will be a bit cooler on
Saturday. Temperatures on Tuesday will be in the 70s lower
elevations and mostly 60s mountains... Warming to the mid 70s to
around 80 by Thursday, except mid 60s to mid 70s mountains. Winds
through the extended period will be light and generally 15 mph or
less. 88

Aviation 12z tafs... Except for partly to mostly cloudy skies
todayVFR conditions will prevail with dry conditions at all taf
sites. CIGS will be mostly around 090 to 120 with scattered layers
below. Winds will be less than 15 kts. 88

It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
