Synopsis.. High pressure over the southeast u.s. Will remain over the area through the week, and will then move east into the western atlantic ocean over the weekend. This will continue the rather tranquil boating conditions over the eastern gulf waters with northeast to east winds each day, except shifting to onshore with the sea breeze during the mid to late afternoon hours.

FOR THE EVENING UPDATE. High pressure remains over the southeast U.S. and Florida with cool dry conditions across the region. Tonight, clear skies and light winds will again create ideal conditions for strong radiational cooling to develop for west central and southwest Florida. Not quite a cold as last night, however overnight lows will drop to around 40 north . mid to upper 40s central . and lower to mid 50s south. Patchy fog is also expected to develop late tonight into early tomorrow morning across the interior and nature coast. Gradual warming trend through the remainder of the week as high pressure will continue to hold over the forecast area with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and dry conditions.
