Synopsis.. High pressure will move east of the region through tonight, as a cold front approaches from the northwest. This front will then move southeast across area through Friday night. High pressure will build to the north Saturday, then to the northeast through Sunday. The high will move further to the east Monday. A cold front will move south across the area Tuesday into Tuesday night. A stalled front will be across area during the day Wednesday. A stronger front will move east through region Thursday.
Gulf stream.. The approximate location of the west wall of the gulf stream as of oct 21, 2021 at 1200 utc... 40 nautical miles east northeast of flagler beach. 46 nautical miles east of saint augustine beach. 61 nautical miles east of jacksonville beach. 86 nautical miles east southeast of st simons island. Near Term. /through Friday night/ .

High pressure ridge will move east of the region through Tonight, as a cold front approaches from the northwest. The front will enter SE GA early Friday, then slowly move southeast across forecast area through Friday night. Support for precipitation is limited, but worth mention. So will continue with slight chances in forecast. Potential for thunder too low for mention at this time. Clouds will be on the increase Tonight, with a mostly cloud day for Friday.

Tonight and Friday will be warmer than normal. Lows Tonight in the middle 60s expected, with highs Friday in the middle to upper 80s. Cooler air will advect in for Friday night following the front, with lows ranging from the middle 50s across inland SE GA, to the middle 60s along the coast.

Short Term. /Saturday through Monday/ .

High pressure will build to the north Saturday, then to the northeast Saturday night through Sunday. The high will move further to the east northeast Sunday night into Monday, as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Dry weather is expected for Saturday. But return flow on the back side of the high will increase moisture across area Sunday, with a few showers possible over NE FL. The chances will increase into Monday, with rain chances across forecast area.

Temperatures will be near seasonal averages Saturday into Saturday night, then trend above normal Sunday through Monday.

Long Term. /Monday night through Thursday/ .

Cold front will approach from the north Monday night, with clouds increasing ahead of it. The front will move south across area Tuesday into Tuesday night, and is expected to stall over NE FL Wednesday. A few showers and storms will be possible as cold front moves through. Showers will linger into Wednesday, due to stalled boundary. This boundary will then lift north as a warm front Wednesday night, as a stronger frontal system approaches from the west. This cold front is expected to cross region from west on Thursday. This system will be monitored over the next week, for the potential of strong to severe storms.

Temperatures will trend near to a little above normal this period.

Marine.

High pressure will move east of the region through Tonight, as a cold front approaches from the northwest. This front will then move southeast across area through Friday night. High pressure will build to the north Saturday, then to the northeast through Sunday. The high will move further to the east Monday. A cold front will move south across the area Tuesday into Tuesday night. A stalled front will be across area during the day Wednesday. A stronger front will move east through region Thursday.
