Synopsis for puerto rico and the uS. Virgin islands waters... A northerly swell and windy conditions are beginning to cause hazardous seas in the atlantic waters, and this will spread to the rest of our local waters overnight. This is a particularly dangerous swell, with high wave heights expected and a likelihood for confused seas as well. This swell event is expected to last into the beginning of the workweek, after which conditions will drop below small craft advisory criteria by Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Also, frequent passing showers with gusty winds are forecasted to move across the local and regional waters during the next several days.
