Synopsis.. A stationary front across the region has allowed for showers to develop over the atlantic waters this evening. The front will continue to weaken during the overnight hours as high pressure builds into the region. This will result in decreased shower chances and generally easterly to southeasterly winds for most of Thursday.
Gulf stream hazards.. Waterspouts are possible this evening within the stronger shower activity across the coastal waters. The approximate location of the west wall of the gulf stream as of feb 23, 2021 at 1200 utc... 9 nautical miles east northeast of fowey rocks. 16 nautical miles east of port everglades. 16 nautical miles east northeast of lake worth. 12 nautical miles east northeast of jupiter inlet.
