Synopsis..A weak cool front will move into the southeastern u.s. Over the weekend and become nearly stationary through the middle of next week, forcing the atlantic ridge axis to remain south and east of central florida. Southwest winds will persist over the waters with generally favorable boating conditions outside of showers and storms. However, chances for showers and storms will remain high, and mariners will need to watch for offshore-moving storms each afternoon and evening.
Gulf stream hazards..None. The approximate location of the west wall of the gulf stream based on the real time ocean forecast system as of Wednesday, august 12th. 40 nautical miles east of ponce inlet. 27 nautical miles east of port canaveral. 20 nautical miles east of sebastian inlet. 11 nautical miles east of fort pierce inlet. 8 nautical miles east of saint lucie inlet.
