Synopsis..
winds and seas will remain slightly elevated today with seas supporting small craft advisory for part of the offshore northeast florida marine zone Wednesday morning into Thursday afternoon. High pressure over the local area on Thursday will move east ahead of an approaching cold front, which will cross our local waters on Friday afternoon and evening, accompanied by showers and possibly a few Thunderstorms. A northeast ocean swell will result in building seas on Thursday night and Friday, and strengthening southwesterly winds will combine to produce small craft advisory conditions over the offshore waters later this week. Northwest winds will surge in the wake of the cold frontal passage on Friday night and Saturday.
