UPDATE
Issued at 715 PM EDT Fri Apr 26 2024 Fairly typical late April weather across the region with high pressure surface and aloft over the Florida peninsula, which will hold over the area through Monday. The large scale subsidence associated with the ridge will continue to create mostly clear skies and temperatures several degrees above normal. A weak progressive U/L trough will ride across the southeast U.S. and Florida on Tuesday, however dry conditions will continue. The U/L ridge will build back over the forecast area in the wake of the trough on Wednesday and will persist through the remainder of the week.
