DISCUSSION
Issued at 204 PM EDT Sat May 4 2024 This discussion feels like the same story, but a different day. The scattered clouds moving through are not doing much to block the sunshine, even though some measurable rainfall fell in the Lower Keys earlier today. We'll see similar conditions going through the weekend and into the first half of next week as a mix of sun and clouds with occasional isolated showers continue. The best chance for rainfall is tomorrow night through Monday night as PoPs are 20 percent.
As the forecast stands at this time, it looks like a small change will come over the course of the end of the week as high temperatures approach 90s. On average, we see the first 90 degree day sometime between the middle of May and the middle of June, depending on where along the Keys we're talking about. All of this to say that the probability of hitting 90 degrees for some locations at the end of next week is low, but it isn't zero.
Dewpoints are also going to be on the rise, so things will feel muggier outside.
