Update
The synoptic pattern aloft this more features ridging across the
southwest, a large longwave trough over much of the eastern half of
the country, and another ridge south of florida. Our region resides
in a fairly weak upper-level flow in between the latter two features,
as noted on the morning sounding. At the surface, a frontal boundary
remains draped across the northern florida peninsula while the
atlantic ridge axis stretches across the southern peninsula. The
overall low-level flow is generally light south to southwest and
almost westerly. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms have been
lingering offshore this morning and some have moved inland across the
nature coast and south into pinellas county.

The forecast for the rest of the day remains largely on track. Plenty
of insolation will allow the west coast sea breeze to quickly develop
and then push inland, so a few showers and storms will be possible
across coastal areas later this morning and into the early afternoon,
but then will push inland and become more numerous. Convection will
likely linger after sunset for a few hours and could migrate back
toward the coast a bit.

Made only minor changes to pops for this morning. No other changes
needed.

Aviation
Vfr conditions prevail this morning across all terminals and will
persist through the rest of the morning. Vcts starting earliest at
kpie at 15z, then the rest of the coastal sites at 16-17z, and
finally klal at 18z as the sea breeze forms and pushes storms quickly
away from the coast. Brief ifr restrictions will be possible with
any passing storms, but otherwise expect mainlyVFR. Storms will
likely linger near klal later than all other sites, but some could
drift back toward the coast this evening. Convection will eventually
dissipate within a few hours of sunset, with a quiet overnight
expected.

Marine
A weak pressure gradient will remain over the coastal waters through
the next several days, with light winds and seas expected. Scattered
thunderstorms will be possible each day.

I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
