Issued at 110 AM EST Sat Dec 7 2024 SCEC headlines this morning with North winds 15-20 knots that will become Northeast through the day and decrease to 10-15 knots as high pressure builds over the region with no headlines expected through Monday. South to Southwest flow increases ahead of the next frontal boundary on Tuesday through early Wednesday with potential for another round of SCA headlines, mainly expected over the offshore waters. SCA headlines will continue with the next frontal passage late Wednesday and continuing into Thursday as flow becomes North to Northeast once again. Rip Currents: Moderate risk of rip currents as flow becomes onshore/Northeast today but weakens to 10-15 knots, along with surf/breakers of 2-4 ft then becomes low to moderate risk on Sunday as flow becomes light/variable with surf/breakers of 1-2 feet.
