at 1135 am cdt, doppler radar indicated an area of Thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 25 knots and frequent cloud to water lightning. This area of Thunderstorms was located along a line extending from 14 nm northeast of devils island to near oak point, moving east at 15 knots.
locations impacted include... Rocky island, ironwood island, marble point, stockton island, oak island, madeline island, cat island, manitou island, south twin island, north twin island, hermit island, outer island, michigan island, otter island, and saxon harbor.

mariners can expect gusty winds up to 25 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
