    Packing the Spinnaker

    The bowman will go below and re-pack the chute after the douse. Keep the edges of the sail from twisting by "running the tape". Basically, just making sure they are free and don't corss. Lay the sail out as much as possible with the port edge of the sail to the left and the starboard side to the right. The head should be away from you. Starting from the center of the foot, take the belly of the sail and stuff it into the bag keeping the three corners out so that they go in last. Make sure that the sail is run true and flat before stuffing to prevent hour glass launches.
