Swift # 47

We have letters from the present owner and from the original owner of Swift. The past owner has included some classic pictures of Swift. Interestingly, Swift is the first L-36 I was ever on. Probably late 1960's in Catalina

Here is the letter from the daughter of the first owners:

Hello,

I am the new owner of # 47 Swift and thought you might want to update the roster. I'll get you an image in the coming weeks.

She is beautiful, it seems as though she was well fitted at building. She is good shape and will have new wood scarfed into her mast near the step (masthead leak) and new keelbolts. I restore boats for a living and I will be living aboard so Swift will have a long life.

The deck, toerails off and the house are the first projects. I am going to strip the house and probably spline the splits and go bright. She needs more varnish and I am a masochist plus I have two kids, Sand age 13 and Varnish age 11.

I am joking about their names... Ian and Julia are their true names
