Viva Hull #48

"Viva" hull #48 came to us just a few months ago from previous owner Barry Mason (of more than 33 years) from Newport Beach, CA. The boat has been maintained extremely well and preserved in it's near original condition.

The boat is in Avalon harbor or moored near Gallagher's Cove (2 miles west of Avalon) and is used by Sail Catalina www.sailcatalina.com a sailing charter business we operate here on Catalina Island.

We have been amazed by the number of L-36 enthusiasts that have recognized the boat (L-36) right away, and have some connection with Lapworth designed boats or the builders Chapman & Kalayjian.

We enjoy sailing aboard "Viva" with our two children (ages 3 & 5) and with friends that share a passion for sailing and for some... just being on the water.
