Synopsis..Strong high pressure building in from the north will produce gusty northeast winds through late Monday morning. This has warranted the continuance of a small craft advisory for the eastern gulf waters from tarpon springs southward through Monday morning. Conditions slightly improve by Monday afternoon, but boaters should still use caution through the week as some gusty easterly winds will be possible.

UPDATE. High pressure ridging in from the north will allow for some cooler and drier air to filter into the region overnight. The 00Z evening sounding is showing much drier air over the region with a PWAT of only 0.26 inch. Latest obs are showing mostly clear skies and temperatures already dropping into the upper 50's to low 60's. Overnight lows will deep 8-10 degrees below average with upper 30's along the Nature Coast and mid 40's to low 50's elsewhere. Forecast looks good with no changes needed.
AVIATION. VFR conditions prevail at all terminals with northeast winds around 8-12 knots with some higher gusts expected through the period.
