Synopsis A cold front will cross the area tonight. High
pressure then builds over the region Tuesday through the end of
the week.

Near term through Tuesday
A cold front will cross the area this evening and will be
accompanied by an increase in clouds and few-sct showers mainly
to the left of the low track or on the north side of the front.

These are more likely to occur late tonight into the first half
of Tuesday. Showers could linger across the southwest part of
the fcst area into the afternoon under northeast winds.

Otherwise, much cooler tomorrow with clearing skies during the
afternoon.

Short term Tuesday night through Wednesday night
High pressure will build Tuesday night through the end of the
week giving way to a taste of early fall weather with highs in
the 70s and cool nights in the 50s on Wed night. No weather is
expected.

Long term Thursday through Monday
An upper-level ridge will build into the region from the southeast
Thursday through Sunday, as an upper low over the northeast departs
into the atlantic. At the surface, high pressure over the
northeastern us continues to pump in cooler air into the region
Thursday, then moves overhead on Friday. This will result in dry
conditions on both days, with temperatures on Thursday in the 70s,
and temperatures on Friday into the upper 70s or low 80s.

Surface high pressure pushes offshore Friday night through the
beginning of next week, pumping warmer and more humid air into the
region. Meanwhile, the upper-ridge continues to move overhead, ahead
of an approaching frontal system. Not expecting any precipitation
through the extended period, but by early next week, could see that
frontal boundary push through, perhaps bringing some rain with it.

Aviation 19z Monday through Saturday
Cdfnt will cross the area this evening with shifting winds to
nne bringing low CIGS (MVFR category) for a period late tonight
into late morning tue. A few showers could also accompany the
front. Clearing from northeast to southwest Tue afternoon.

Vfr conditions expected Thursday and Friday, with high pressure
dominating the weather pattern. Winds will be around 5-10 knots out
of the northeast on Thursday, switching to southwest by Friday.

Marine
Gusty nne winds expected Tue behind a frontal passage, these are
expected to last at least through wed
no marine hazards expected on Thursday or Friday, as high pressure
will dominate the weather pattern, leading to dry and calm
conditions.

I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. Almost all of these also make simplifying assumptions so they are not totally accurate even if there are no errors. Please verify all results. 5) Weather information is from numerious of sources and is presented automatically. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
