New DISCUSSION, MARINE, AVIATION
DISCUSSION
Issued at 1021 AM EDT Sun May 5 2024 Temperatures along the Keys are near 80 degrees, and are coupled with dew points in the low to mid 70s making for a morning that feels fairly muggy. While satellite shows some clouds throughout the forecast area, the majority of them are simply passing by without producing rainfall or blocking out the sunshine. Radar does show isolated shower activity over the waters to the west and northwest of the island chain, but these will continue to track away from land and rainfall chances remain low (around 20 percent). No changes are needed to the current forecast at this time.
