Tonight..Northwest winds around 5 knots then becoming northeast after midnight. Seas 2 feet or less. Bay and inland waters smooth. Isolated Thunderstorms until early morning. Scattered Thunderstorms toward morning.
Friday..Southeast winds around 5 knots then becoming south around 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet or less. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Scattered showers and isolated Thunderstorms.
Friday night..Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to around 15 knots in the late evening and overnight. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Scattered showers and isolated Thunderstorms.
Saturday..South winds around 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Bay and inland waters choppy. Numerous showers and isolated Thunderstorms.

GMZ800 Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River- 910 Am Edt Thu Oct 17 2019
Synopsis.. High pressure ridges across southern florida while a weakening front extends across northern florida. Winds remain light at 10 knots or less through the next 24 hours. Winds and seas will begin to increase on Friday afternoon as an area of low pressure moves through the gulf of mexico toward western florida. The nhc holds chances of tropical cyclone formation at 80 percent over the next 48 hours for this area. Impacts from this system will be gusty winds near gale force, building seas to 5-9 feet, possible waterspouts and frequent lightning. Mariners should keep a close eye on the weather if planning to be in the gulf of mexico over the next 24-72 hours. High pressure will build back into the area by Monday next week with benign weather conditions expected.
