Temperatures have been staying cool today thanks to a cold front that pushed through yesterday. Clearing skies tonight will allow for temperatures to drop into the 30's and 40's across the area but everyone should stay above freezing with some patchy frost in Levy County. Temperatures will start to moderate for Tuesday and Wednesday however the front that pushed through us will start to drift north. This will increase our cloud cover for the latter half of the work week. This will keeps lows in the 60's and highs in the 70's each day.
As we get into Friday and next weekend the models seem to agree that a low pressure will form on the tail end of the front and push through our area. This will result in breezy and wet conditions.
However, timing and location is pretty far off from the GFS and EURO. GFS has a quicker and more northerly motion of the storm with Friday and Saturday being the wettest and the low pushing through the panhandle. Euro has a slower and southern solution with the wetter days being Saturday and Sunday with the low passing through south Florida. I leaned a little more towards the EURO right now keeping the higher rain shower chances on Saturday and Sunday but things should become more clear in the coming days.
