Discussion
Typical summertime pattern remains in place today and will
continue into the weekend. Surface ridge placement will keep the
area in a light southeasterly flow regime though the weekend and
into early next week. With ample moisture in place scattered
diurnal showers and storms can be expected each day. During the
start of the upcoming week, aloft, upper-level ridge moves out in
response to a deepening trough over the northeastern CONUS on
Monday and Tuesday. This will allow the surface ridge to retreat
out into the atlantic some ushering in more of a southwest flow to
round out of forecast period. This will push the gulf coast
seabreeze in early in the day which should keep highest rain
chances east of i-75 for the start of next week. Temperatures
through the period will remain near to a few degrees above normal
with highs in the lower to mid 90s.

Aviation
Much like the past few days, light southeast winds can be expected
early with a seabreeze turning winds onshore near coastal terminals
in the early afternoon. Similar to yesterday, scattered showers and
storms will develop along afternoon sea breeze boundaries. Expect
predominantlyVFR conditions with a good chance of some intermittent
MVFR ifr lifr conditions after 18z in and around thunderstorms. No
tempo groups included at this time due to timing and location
uncertainties but will likely be needed for subsequent forecasts.

Marine
High pressure remains over the area producing pleasant boating
conditions over the gulf coast waters. Winds remain 10 knots or less
through the period with seas less than 2 feet. The only hazard will
be with isolated storms and enhanced sea breeze winds along the
coast each afternoon evening. No other marine impacts expected.

Fire weather
Sufficient low level moisture will keep relative humidity values
above critical levels through the week with no red flag conditions
expected. No significant fog is expected through the period.

I have no idea of they are useful or accurate, I leave that to the reader. 2) Articles others have written and submitted. These are not intended to be fact, they are my opinions. 4) Small programs that generate result presented on a web page. Like any computer program, these may and in some cases do have errors. Almost all of these also make simplifying assumptions so they are not totally accurate even if there are no errors. Please verify all results. 5) Weather information is from numerious of sources and is presented automatically. It is not checked for accuracy either by anyone at L-36.com or by the source which is typically the US Government. See the NOAA web site for their disclaimer. Finally, tide and current data on this site is from 2007 and 2008 data bases, which may contain even older data. Changes in harbors due to building or dredging change tides and currents and for that reason many of the locations presented are no longer supported by newer data bases. For example, there is very little tidal current data in newer data bases so current data is likely wrong to some extent. This data is NOT FOR NAVIGATION. See the XTide disclaimer for details. In addition, tide and current are influenced by storms, river flow, and other factors beyond the ability of any predictive program.
