Synopsis
Dry and mild weather continues into tomorrow with Minor HeatRisk expected. Unsettled weather develops midweek with chances for precipitation, isolated thunderstorms, and breezy winds in the afternoon and evening hours into the weekend.

Key Messages

* Today-Wednesday: Periodically breezy winds alongside above normal temperatures and areas of Minor HeatRisk.

-Probability of high temperatures 80 degrees F or higher: 75-100% (Today- Tuesday) and 30-60% (Wednesday).

-Breezy north winds today and Tuesday, shifting toward south to west onshore flow by midweek. Winds gusting 15-25 mph at times.

-5-15% chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms Wednesday PM across northern Sacramento Valley and surrounding terrain.

* Late Week-Next Weekend:

-Cooling trend with periodically breezy to gusty onshore winds.

-Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms (10-20%)
possible, primarily from Interstate 80 northward.

-High elevation snow showers possible late Friday & Saturday, with a 30-45% probability of 1 inch of snowfall above 5500 feet along Sierra/southern Cascades.
