Synopsis for northern california waters - Gale force northerlies will continue in the outer waters through Wednesday with gusts up to 35 kts. NEar- gale to gale force gusts are possible in the inner waters near point st george and cape mendocino, especially each afternoon and evening. Otherwise, the inner waters will mostly see fresh northerly breezes through Wednesday. Steep short period seas up to 12 feet will dominate all waters as long as winds persist.

As a result, dry and mild weather prevails through midweek before a transition toward near to below normal temperatures and more unsettled weather moving toward next weekend.

-Probability of high temperatures 80 degrees F or higher: 50-85% (Sunday & Wednesday) and 70-100% (Monday-Tuesday).
-Diurnally driven winds resume with increasing Delta breeze flow in the afternoons and evenings this weekend and into next week.
