Marine Weather and Tide Forecast for Fort Myers Beach, FL

We are currently seeing a cold front slowly pushing through the panhandle. Ahead of the frontal system we are seeing southerly winds and warmer temperatures. Most of us across West Central Florida are seeing temperatures in the mid 80's this afternoon.

The cold front in the panhandle will push through the state overnight and start bringing some drier air to the state throughout the day on Saturday. We will still see temperatures above normal with highs in the low to mid 80's. The cooler air will filter in Saturday night with lows on Sunday from the mid 50's to mid 60's and highs around 80 degrees. High pressure will also be settling in keeping the pleasant weather in place through the first half our work week. Temperatures should remain around average with lows in the 60's and highs around 80 degrees.

Another quick moving cold front will push through the area on Wednesday this will help to bring temperatures slightly below average. We can expect highs around the mid 70's Thursday afternoon.

Light winds and generally VFR conditions rest of this evening then some lowering CIGS developing overnight with possible MVFR/ LCL IFR CIGS/VSBY around 08-13Z around the Tampa Bay area SAT morning. VRF conditions return areawide aft 14Z with light winds.

Winds will remain around 5 to 10 knots out of the north for the rest of the day. A cold front will push thought tonight. Winds will stay out of the north but increase to 10 to 15 knots through the weekend. Wind speeds should remain around 10 to 15 knots for early next week as directions shift more northeasterly.
