New UPDATE, MARINE, AVIATION

UPDATE
Issued at 830 PM EST Thu Dec 7 2023

Surface high pressure continues to build over the area with a mid level pressure ridge moving overhead. Temperatures are falling into the 60s and mid 50s already, setting the stage for another cool night. No significant changes were made to the temperature forecast, as we remain on track to see the upper 40s-low 50s north of Orlando and the low to upper 50s elsewhere. A few clouds will march across the area and gradually increase through daybreak Friday. Overall, the weather remains calm and pleasant.

MARINE
Issued at 830 PM EST Thu Dec 7 2023

Tonight...Seas are generally 2-4 ft nearshore, up to 5 ft offshore as evidenced by Buoy 41009. Small craft should exercise caution well offshore, mainly in the Gulf Stream waters south of the Cape tonight. Light winds are more NNE along the coast and will gradually veer overnight to be in line with onshore winds across the rest of the waters.

AVIATION
(00Z TAFS)
Issued at 830 PM EST Thu Dec 7 2023

Low-level clouds build from south to north after 15z-17z Fri. Shower chances (VCSH) increase toward the end of the period, mainly from MLB southward to SUA.
