Marine Weather and Tide Forecast for Medulla, FL

High pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern leading to rain-free conditions and only some fair weather cumulus across central Florida. A few midlevel clouds linger across southern Florida where deeper moisture still exists. This same pattern is expected over the next couple days with warm and dry weather areawide. Temperatures through Tuesday will be slightly warmer compared to the past few days with afternoon highs topping out in the middle to upper 80s. Dewpoints in the upper 60s to lower 70s will keep heat index values in the lower 90s.

On Wednesday, a trough to the north will sweep a frontal boundary across the Florida Peninsula. This will mostly be a dry front that ushers in some cooler temperatures. However, a few sprinkles or light showers are possible during the day on Wednesday as the boundary moves through. Behind the front, cooler temperatures and drier air are expected as high pressure builds in. For Wednesday and Thursday, afternoon highs ranging from the lower 70s along the Nature Coast to the low 80s in SWFL are expected. Overnight lows are even expected to dip down into the 50 further north, with 60s expected elsewhere. The pleasant weather will continue through the end of the week with highs in the low 80s before temperatures tick up a few degrees for the weekend.

VFR conditions will prevail throughout the period NE winds less than 5 kts overnight. Winds gradually shift to NNW by Monday at around 5-8 kts with dry conditions expected throughout the day.

MARINE

High pressure over the area will keep winds between 10-15 knots and seas around 1-3 feet. Mostly rain-free conditions expected through the period, with only a slight chance of a shower or storm over the southern zones this afternoon. A frontal boundary mid week will bring gusty northeasterly winds of 20-25 knots and slightly elevated seas between 4-8 feet to the area into next weekend.
