DISCUSSION
Issued at 227 AM EDT Mon May 29 2023
As the non tropical low pressure system that has been dragging drier air into our area, continues to slowly move further north. Dry air will linger till around Tuesday as a ridge builds in. A little m moisture begins to return by Tuesday afternoon, increasing rain chances slightly. Wednesday into Thursday will see a shift as an upper level trough moves towards the state and a surface trough develops over South Florida. This combination will increase moisture and possibility of showers/storms increases to about 60-80% beginning Wednesday and lasting through the end of the week.
Temperatures hang around the low 90s for the beginning of the week, then drop to mid 80s later in the week as rain chances increase. This week, in a nutshell, will feel very summer like with higher temps, dew points, and higher chances for afternoon shower/thunderstorms.
AVIATION
(06Z TAFS)

Light N/NE winds will increase and shift to more N/NW in the afternoon as the seabreeze develops. After sunset, winds will begin to diminish and become more northerly again.
