- Below normal rain chances and coverage continue today, then moisture increases from north to south with rain chances closer to normal mid to late week.

Main story continues to be the heat and humidity. Be sure to continue taking caution when working out doors. Take frequent breaks indoors and drink plenty of water. A few showers and storms possible mainly along the interior portions of the forecast area and further east today. Moisture begins to increase tomorrow from north to south with some showers and storms developing over the Gulf overnight.
Some of these showers will begin to push onshore early in the morning before pushing inland in the afternoon. Extra clouds and the chance for showers, will help keep temperatures a few degrees lower tomorrow. Though moisture will continue to increase through the remainder of the week, however temperatures and humidity will still remain high.
