New DISCUSSION, AVIATION, MARINE, FIRE WEATHER
DISCUSSION
Issued at 311 AM EDT Sat Apr 19 2025
Same forecast, different day as high pressure aloft and at the surface remains in control. This will keep temperatures warm and conditions dry. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s/low 90s throughout the week. Though it won't feel exactly like summer time just yet as dew points will still be on the low side keeping humidity down. The lower dew points coupled with the breezy easterly winds will keep fire dangers elevated for the next few days. Winds should begin to decrease Monday. No significant rain chances through the week.
AVIATION
(06Z TAFS)
Issued at 311 AM EDT Sat Apr 19 2025
VFR conditions prevail. Winds mostly ESE, though a sea breeze could develop in the afternoon and potentially make it to PIE and TPA shifting the breeze more out of the NW for a brief period of time
MARINE
Issued at 311 AM EDT Sat Apr 19 2025
With high pressure in the Atlantic dominating the flow, winds will remain offshore through the next few days with a sea breeze developing each afternoon. Winds will become gusty each afternoon, but should remain below any headlines.
FIRE WEATHER
Issued at 311 AM EDT Sat Apr 19 2025
Warm, dry conditions continue through the week, keeping fire dangers elevated. Periods of low RH values close to or below critical levels could be possible the next few days coupled with elevated winds, could be flirting with red flag conditions. We will continue to closely monitor the situation as the day unfolds.
