As a result, dry and mild weather prevails through midweek before a transition toward near to below normal temperatures and more unsettled weather moving toward next weekend.

* Today-Wednesday: Periodically breezy winds alongside above normal temperatures and areas of Minor HeatRisk.
-Probability of high temperatures 80 degrees F or higher: 50-85% (Sunday & Wednesday) and 70-100% (Monday-Tuesday).
-Diurnally driven winds resume with increasing Delta breeze flow in the afternoons and evenings this weekend and into next week.
Winds gusting 15-25 mph at times.
* Late Week-Next Weekend: Cooling trend with periodically breezy onshore winds. Isolated to scattered showers possible Friday into next weekend, primarily north of Interstate 80 and along higher terrain.
