A ridge will extend down the east coast of the US from high pressure centered off the northeast US coast. Circulation around this high will continue the onshore flow pattern. Weak troughs over the coastal waters will result in a few bands of showers developing over the waters Tonight, along with gusty winds at the coast. With loss of heating over land, these showers will largely dissipate as they come ashore during the night.

A few showers will affect coastal sites Tonight, with the potential for restrictions. Patchy inland fog may affect KVQQ overnight. Mainly coastal showers are expected for Thursday as well. Expecting prevailing VFR conditions on Thursday, but a brief restriction in and near showers is possible.
